Sunday Project

I redecorated our bedroom today! Thanks to Justin's aunt Jane, she gave us a brand new bedding set and a couple of other things. So I thought today would be the perfect day to set everything up! I should have taken before pictures. Our bedroom used to be so plain. Now its warm and cozy! It feels like a whole new bedroom. The only thing I didn't take a picture of is the wall with the window. I still have to buy a curtain rod to hang the curtains up (which match the bedding set.) Anyway, here is what our bedroom looks like now :)

Isn't the bedding beautiful? I LOVE turquoise and brown together!

Here are some of the wall decorations that Justin's aunt gave us to go with the bedding! LOVE IT!

She also gave us the vase, its sooo pretty!! I think it really brings the room together!

Here's a close up of the vase.  She painted it the same colors as the bedding!

And here's one of our bed again.
Now I need to start working on the girls' room. I think I'm probably going to do some kind of pink and brown theme. I'm going to make their quilts! I started Jordan's pink and brown quilt before we moved and I need to finish hers. I started Logan's too, which was green and purple but I think I'm going to give that one away and make Logan a pink and brown one too. I also have wooden letters that spell Jordan that I painted pink and brown, but still need to do Logan's. Haha, I keep putting their bedroom off because it feels like its going to be a HUGE project! I think I'm going to start tomorrow though!

Pretty Girls

We went to the park today. I think my girls have switched places, Jordan was totally loving having her picture taken today and Logan wanted nothing to do with it! Usually its the other way around! Anyway, here's some pictures!

The best of friends... For now :)

Justin hates it when I do Logan's hair like this. I think it makes her look cute!

She loves to put her feet in the water, even if its freezing!

This was one of the only shots I got of Logan, she thinks its funny to run when I get the camera out.

A Day in the Life

The other day I was on a photography website and they give you assignments and projects. The assignment of the day was called "A day in the Life." You are to take pictures through out your day of things at different angles and points of views. I thought it was pretty interesting so today, I took on the project. It was just an ordinary day today, nothing special, but this project really inspired me. I loved capturing things from different angles and doing close up shots in manual mode. It was a lot of fun and I plan on doing more of these assignments! So here is my day, let me know what you think :)

Logan had Kix while I made breakfast because she is sooo impatient.

Finally, breakfast was done!

Dirty Sink :(

Clean Sink :)
I LOVE to vacuum, mostly because of the beautiful lines it leaves on the carpet.
During Logan's first nap of the day, Jordan and I work on a few pages of her preschool book. Today it was find the picture that is the same size. She is so smart!
They were running around holding hands and cracking eachother up. I love these girls so much!
Jordans AWESOME new shirt. I want one in my size!!

Jordan came running up to me, she was so thrilled that she found her "Eight thousand dollars!!" She put this dollar in that toy a week ago and has been looking for it ever since. She's hilarious!

Chicken strips & fries for dinner. Hey, it was easy, it all came from the freezer! I need to go grocery shopping!
All of us played on the floor after dinner.
Went for a walk with the girls, and got two GREAT shots of them wearing their cute new hats! I love it when that happens!
This kid is the WORST kid to take pictures of, anytime the camera comes out, her arm flies up over her face.. Hmm, wonder where she learned that from? HER DAD!
Getting ready for shopping!
But had to hit the tanning bed first! So relaxing!
Cantelope. Sadly, I'm very allergic to melons.
Can you guess what this is?
Justin's favortite- Red apples.
Suckers! 'Mmm!

So there it is, that was my day. I hope you all enjoyed it!

My Beautiful Sister

My baby sister is pregnant! She's having a boy, Brayden. And I am beyond excited to meet him! A couple of weeks ago we had a photoshoot. So here are some pictures from that :)

Bitter-Sweet

I unexpectedly lost childcare without any notice and could not find a back up which resulted in me losing my job. I really loved working there, the people were great to work with, the patients were awesome and it truely was a wonderful office to work in. I'm so sad that it had to come to this. On the other hand though, it means that I get to spend more time with my girls. When I was working I felt like I didnt see them enough. And I dont really want someone else raising them, they are MY kids, ya know?
I am absolutely enjoying every minute of being a stay at home mom. I love waking up with them in the morning and getting to play and teach them new things everyday. And best of all, my house is always clean again!!
