Brayden's Newborn Photoshoot

I was super excited that I got to take his newborn pictures! It was so much fun! He peed and pooped ALL over me and my brand new props, but I guess that's okay since he's my nephew and all :) And I have to say, my mom is an excellent assistant!!

Oops, forgot my logo on this one! I love this boy!(Hat made by Sweet Peas & Bumpkins)

His sweet little toes make me smile!

This was totally not posed! My sister was taking him away to feed him and snapped this, I kind of like it!

I'm Officially an Aunt

Taylor FINALLY (1 whole week late) had her baby. (And I'm FINALLY writing about it!) Lets back up to my last post... Remember how I said we were SO tired that we went to bed as soon as we got home from trick or treating? Well it's a good thing we did, because Taylor's water broke at 1am, she called my phone, oh, about 4 times until she finally called Justin, who answered. As soon as he sat up in bed to say "Hello?" I heard Taylor yell,"Tell my sister to wake up, my water just broke!" Pretty exciting right? I was so excited/nervous that I almost threw up! My little sister is gonna be a mom!!!

So then after we dropped the kids off with my wonderful friend, Ashlee, at 3am, (and had to listen to Taylor complain that she was going to have this baby right on the side of the road if we didnt hurry up) it was time to head to the hospital. From start to finish, the whole entire thing took 24 hours and 27 minutes. And I'm pretty sure that EVERYONE slept during that long 24 hour period, except for me!

Taylor did such a good job! The poor girl pushed for almost 4 hours and then ended up having to have an emergency c-section! At 1:27am on Tuesday, November 2nd Brayden Louis Praska was born! He was a big guy, a whopping 8lbs 13oz, 21inches long! He's got to be the cutest boy I've ever seen!! I'm one pround Auntie!  Okay okay, so enough with the story right? Here he is! Isn't he handsome?

Just about an hour after he was born! Isn't he just perfect?

Cousins :)

Logan's first time meeting Brayden. She tried to tell him about his eye, then proceeded to poke him in it, just to make sure he knew where it was.

Jordan adores him, she always wants to hold him and kiss him.

Here's the proud mommy & baby!

Happy Halloweenie!

We had such a good time trick-or-treating with the kids this year. Jordan was a cowgirl and Logan was an indian. Get it? Cowboys & Indians? We trick-or-treated around my mom's neighborhood for about 45 minutes and the girls got way too much candy! The basket of candy is still almost all the way full!! I think we should have went a little earlier because it got pretty cold. Next year we'll definitely have to go around 6 or 6:30. By the time we got home it was around 9:30 and we all went straight to bed, we were all beat!

Here are some pictures :)

Yep, that orange stuff on her face is pumpkin. She wouldnt stop eating it!!
So good, she had to lick the spoon!

Jordan wouldnt go near her & her dad's pumpkin. She said it was gross. Logan tried to give her a kiss with pumpkin on her face and she freaked out!

The mouse is Justin & Jordan's pumpkin and the awesome looking owl is mine and Logan's :p

Logan as an indian. Or "alien" if you ask Jordan.

My little cowgirl STANDING on top of my car!

Trick-or-Treating at Grandma's house.

Yep! Even Taylor dressed up! And the man on the left is actually her friend Katie! They went as white trash. (Unlit) Ciggerette and all :)

That vest is an antique. I thought it was pretty cool!

"The Pumpkin Catch"

Last month, I was showing Jordan all of the pictures from the previous years that we have gone to the pumpkin patch. We started this tradition the year she was born. I told her about how the first time we went she was 10 months old and learning to walk and she did not want to be held at all. She kissed every single pumpkin she touched. Silly kid. Then the year after that, when she was almost two, she was really really cranky so it was a pretty short visit. Last year, it was Logan's first time and we went through the corn maze. It was a blast!!

After I showed Jordan all of the pictures and told her the story, she started getting really excited to go this year! Then she said something that cracked me up! She said, "Mom, are we going to go to the pumpkin catch and catch a big pumpkin?" I couldn't help but laugh! But it stuck and that's what we have been calling it for the last month or so!

Today we finally made it! We had been trying to go all month but it was either too rainy or we were too busy. We went to Maris Farms and it was awesome. They had this awesome climber toy with two really fun slides, this room full of corn kernels that you can play in, a petting zoo (which we didnt go in because of allergies), and all kinds of fun stuff! The girls had a blast! We came home with two big pumpkins and they even wanted to get a little tiny pumpkin for Chopper. And right now as I type this, Jordan is sleeping with that little pumpkin that she got for Chopper.

And best of all, I took a TON of pictures :)

Justin and the kids on the slide. It may look fun, but it definitely hurts your butt!

Jordan loved it!

And so did Logan :)

We burried the girls in the corn!! (This picture is absolutely horrible, yuck!)

Logan did not like the corn. Haha.

They are getting so big! And yes, I had my picture taken in front of this, and NO I'm not posting it :) Hahaha

Sharing some hot chocolate. So sweet.

They thought this was so much fun!

Grossest thing ever. Logan was EATING little tiny SPIDERS off of this pumpkin!!!! YUCK!!!!

Big hug :)

She was trying to pick it up :)
Allllllllright! I need to get off of here and get in bed! Its almost 2am! Yikes!!!

Sunday Project

I redecorated our bedroom today! Thanks to Justin's aunt Jane, she gave us a brand new bedding set and a couple of other things. So I thought today would be the perfect day to set everything up! I should have taken before pictures. Our bedroom used to be so plain. Now its warm and cozy! It feels like a whole new bedroom. The only thing I didn't take a picture of is the wall with the window. I still have to buy a curtain rod to hang the curtains up (which match the bedding set.) Anyway, here is what our bedroom looks like now :)

Isn't the bedding beautiful? I LOVE turquoise and brown together!

Here are some of the wall decorations that Justin's aunt gave us to go with the bedding! LOVE IT!

She also gave us the vase, its sooo pretty!! I think it really brings the room together!

Here's a close up of the vase.  She painted it the same colors as the bedding!

And here's one of our bed again.
Now I need to start working on the girls' room. I think I'm probably going to do some kind of pink and brown theme. I'm going to make their quilts! I started Jordan's pink and brown quilt before we moved and I need to finish hers. I started Logan's too, which was green and purple but I think I'm going to give that one away and make Logan a pink and brown one too. I also have wooden letters that spell Jordan that I painted pink and brown, but still need to do Logan's. Haha, I keep putting their bedroom off because it feels like its going to be a HUGE project! I think I'm going to start tomorrow though!
