Wow, its been a while!!

Since I've last blogged, a lot has happened! I have completed school and started externing (which means working for free, haha) at a really awesome dentist office! I've been working there full time for the last two weeks and am almost done! I am VERY excited, because as soon as I'm done with my hours I will be a graduate!!! I can't believe how quickly this whole thing has gone, I just wish I would have done it sooner. So now, I'm turning my resume in every where and looking for permanent work.

I can't remember if I've wrote this in a blog yet but Jordan is 100% potty trained now. She' hasn't been wearing diapers at night for the last month or so! It's SO nice having a big girl!!! She's very smart, we have been getting on youtube and watching sign language videos and she is learning a ton of signs!

Logan is 4 months old TODAY. I cannot believe it, these 4 months flew past and she's not a newborn anymore! Makes me so sad!!! I made her rice cereal and she LOVED it! She couldn't get enough, and ended up getting it everywhere! It was a huge mess... I will have to post pictures later because I can't find the usb cable for my camera right now.

Justin and I are good, I feel like we never get to see eachother though! Whenever I'm home he's at work and whenever he's home, I'm at work! I'm going to have to find something part time so we can spend more time together as a family!

I'll post some pics later this week of the girls on Halloween and Logan's first food!

Playin' in the Rain

Today was the first time it has rained hard in a really long time. It was awesome. There was even thunder and lightning and the power went out for a minute. We decided to go outside and play in the puddles and get all wet. After that the kids came in and took a nice warm bath and we have been pretty much relaxing ever since. I even got to turn my fire place on for the first time in a long time too! I love it!!

Also, I got my externship set up at a nice little office in Puyallup. I like it a lot. I went there on Thursday to do an observation for 4 hours and I learned so much. I'm very excited to start. I start on the 29th! We are in the process of interviewing babysitters for the couple of hours a week that Justin and I arent home to watch the kids. Its going good and I think I found someone really perfect for the job!

Jordan is getting really excited for Halloween. She was going to be a horse for Halloween but we tried the costume on her and she had a fit because it had a hood and she didn't like it. So she's just going to be the lady bug that she was last year. She didnt get to go trick-or-treating in it anyway. Logan is going to be a cute little cow. I'm going to put her in it later to make sure it still fits. Its really cute.

Justin and I took the girls to the pumpkin patch last weekend and we went through the corn maize. It was pretty fun. Here are some pics to enjoy :)

My Birthday Present to Myself

A while back, I lost my camera. Jordan did end up finding it though :) But that was when I decided to buy myself a VERY nice digital SLR. I love taking pictures and people keep telling me that I could make a living off of it. I think this sounds like a great idea as just like a side thing. Like maybe weekends or a few times a month. So, I just got it last night for my birthday present to myself with a little bit of my moms help. I absolutely love it! I'm going to post some pictures that I took with it at the pumpkin patch today. We only spent like 15 minutes there pretty much just waiting in line just to realize that I had to go back home to prepare for my externship interview (cross your fingers for me!). The pictures look really grainy so if you want to see how clear they really are just click on them. Anyway, here they are:

This one was just a few hours ago before she went down for a nap.

I need a hobby.

We went to Dave and Sonja's house this last weekend because Justin was helping get hay. Kerri came with us and Jordan and Taylor had a blast. They rode vinny, Jordans tractor and just played all weekend long.

I told Jordan to give Logan her binky and this is what she did, haha!

Look at how long Jordan's hair is getting! I really want to chop it all off, but Justin says no becuase he loves her long hair!

So I have decided that I want to start doing a craft night once or twice a week with Jordan and Taylor. Kerri and I went to Michaels yesterday and we got some good stuff. We got construction paper, these cool wood masks for halloween that we are going to have the kids paint and then we'll put them in the flower bed, some magnets that they can paint, scissors, and other cool stuff. Last night we set up the little table in our living room and we gave them some paper, scissors and stickers and let them go to town. It was their first time using scissors so it was pretty fun. Jordan LOVED it. I am very nervous that she is going to try to cut her hair so I need to watch her VERY closely with those scissors!

I have decided that once I'm done with school that I want to take a photography class and get a really nice digital SLR camera. People have been asking me to take pictures for them a lot lately but I just dont think that my camera is good enough. Its just a little point and shoot cannon, nothing special. I really want some professional equipment so that I can maybe do photography as a side job or a hobby.

I got to take the day off of school today because we didnt have a babysitter. So I am just going to hang out with Jordan and Logan. I'm also babysitting Taylor today because her babysitter was too sick so Jordan and Taylor are playing right now while Logan naps in her swing. Today is going to be a busy day. I am going to do 2 loads of laundry, sweep and mop, re-organize the kids play area, get my hair done, go to the in-laws, go get my new PartyLite candles, then come home and study for 2 tests that I have tomorrow at school.
